Swine Flu vaccine safety?

Quote from 50 Plus Health
"Clinical trials on the safety and effectiveness of the new vaccine are expected to begin by October, and if all goes well, immunization programs will begin by November, officials said. These timelines are largely consistent with pandemic vaccine development internationally.

"The virus is still around and ready to explode," William Schaffner, an influenza expert at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine told The Washington Post. "We're potentially looking at a very big mess."

Still officials say that flu viruses are notoriously capricious, making any firm predictions impossible. "

I find it disturbing that the government is not testing the safety of the new vaccine until October. Have they not been running tests on the development of the vaccine, do they even know if it will be of any use in the prevention of the H1N1.

I have not seen one article on ways people can strengthen their immune system, this is the most effective way to avoid the viruses that we are faced with everyday. Keep your immune system strong so you do not have to have the "virus" injected into your system.

I personally do not intend to have the germ injected into my body. How about you?

bodily exercise will sooner or later have

Relaxation technique.

Health Tip of the Day
"Getting Fit. . . One Step at a Time"

A quick relaxation technique is to breathe
in and shrug your shoulders lifting them
towards your ears and then as you breathe
out, completely relaxing all the muscles
from your neck to your shoulders, across
your upper chest and upper back and say
Ahhhh.

Child Obesity.

Each hour a child watches TV raises his risk of obesity by 12%. Each hour of physical activity lowers a child's risk of obesity by 10%.

We are allowing our children to lounge in front of the TV and video without exercising. It is a proven fact that this can lead to many health problems later in their lives. It also does not allow them to use their imaginations in play, the videos games, in my opinion are mind numbing.

Are we raising a generation who do not have any imagination? If they can not entertain themselves without the TV or a video game what will this mean for the future?

Too much sugar!!!

According to Dr. Don Colbert, the
average American consumes 170 pounds
of refined sugar a year. About 75%
of the sugar is hidden and 20% of our
diets are composed of white sugar and
sucrose. This is extremely dangerous
since sugar actually feeds cancer.
